Yue Fei (1103-1142), word Pengju, Xiangzhou Tangyin (now belonging to Henan) , a soldier who fought against the Jin Dynasty in the Southern Song Dynasty. He was falsely accused of imprisonment and murder for opposing and surrendering. Shaoxing 32 years (1162), buried in Qixia Ridge. Yue Fei Temple was originally Zhi Guo Temple, but later changed to Yue Wang Temple. Temple north facing south, the existing building for the Qing Kangxi 54 years (1715) reconstruction, after number of repairs, mainly Zhonglie Temple and Qizhong Temple, etc. Yuefei tomb, also name Yue tomb, is located in the south of Chung Yeol Temple. The tomb area is composed of Zhaobi, Stele Gallery, Door of Tomb, Tunnel, Iron Man Statue, Stone Statue Life, Yuefei Tomb, Yueyun Tomb, etc. The tomb and temple of Yuefei is the largest memorial site of Yuefei in China. It‘s a great value to commemorate and study Yuefei. In 1961, it was listed in the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
