Former Site of Zhejiang Agricultural University, now Zhejiang University Huajiachi Campus. Huajiachi is the site of Zhejiang University College of Agriculture, which was founded in 1928 and moved from Jianqiao in 1934. Zhejiang University College of Agriculture became Zhejiang Agricultural University independently from 1952 to 1998. It was merged into Zhejiang University in the second half of 1998. Huajiachi Campus has a history of more than 80 years. There are more than 10 cultural relics buildings built in the 1940s and 1950s on the site of Zhejiang Agricultural University. This is not only the representative of Hangzhou agricultural culture, but also the birthplace of modern agricultural education in Zhejiang Province.
