Wenlan Pavilion is located in the southern foot of the isolated West Lake Mountain.It is a typical courtyard building in the south of Jiangnan. The main characteristic of garden layout is to adapt to the height of the topography and to decorate pavilions, corridors, pools and stone-stacked buildings.Garden pavilions, bridges, rockery stone for mutual support, penetration together.

Wenlan Pavilion sits in the north facing south, each building in the longitudinal axis of the separation, left and right asymmetric layout.
