Jiaotanxia Official Kiln Site is Located in the mountainous area of the western side of the turtle, the kiln site is now located in the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Yao Museum. Hangzhou Ceramics Market to the south, Phoenix Mountain Road to the south, Turtle Mountain to the east, about 300 meters from the Eight Diagrams Field to the west, Yuhuang Mountain to the north and will be mountain.

In October 1985, Lin'ancheng archaeological team of the Southern Song Dynasty excavated a kiln site under the Yuhuangshan Mountain, and found a kiln, workshop site, an area of about 2000 square meters, the whole kiln is narrow east-west, long north-south. In 1990, a protection hall was established on the site of Xia Kiln in suburban Tan, which allowed proper protection and display of the site.

Inside and outside of the workshop foundation, there are mud pools, windlass pits, glaze tanks, masonry furnaces, masonry piles, pits, roads, drains, etc. At present, this area is protected by the method of overall soil cover restoration display and partial original appearance display.
