Gongchen Bridge
Gongchen Bridge, located in the north of Hangzhou Daguan Bridge, connects Lishui Road, Taizhou Road to the east, Qiaolong Street to the west, Xiaohe Road, is the tallest and longest stone arch bridge in Hangzhou. Gongchen Bridge across the Grand Canal east and west, is the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to Hangzhou terminal sign. It was founded in 1631, the 11th year of Guangxu (1888) of Qing Dynasty, and was rebuilt several times. The 92-meter-long bridge is built with a long lock stone, and has a soft curved deck. It is a three-hole thin pier stone arch bridge with longitudinal sections. It is the largest stone arch bridge in Hangzhou city area and the landmark building in the area of Gongchen Bridge. In 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
