The statue of Ciyun Ridge is located in the southern foot of Ciyun Mountain, in a valley between Mount Jiangtai and Mount Yuhuang. According to Xianchun Lin'anzhi, the statue of Ciyun Ridge was carved as early as 942 when Qian Hongzuo, king of Wu and Yue, founded Ziyan Temple. Altogether, there are 4 niches, more than 30 cliff statues, subject to the Three Saints, Dizang and Six Samsara in the West and so on. The seven round statues in the main niche and the three seated statues in the middle, namely the Amitabha Buddha, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and the Great Bodhisattva, behind them there is a bead-shaped backlight, carved peony, edge decorative flame pattern, are all cross-legged, sitting on the lotus Xumi seat. There are two standing Bodhisattva statues and two standing heavenly kings on both sides.The upper reliefs of the seven statues, flying in the sky and two birds each, are scattered. The lintel of the niche is arched, with seven Buddhas in the middle, Manjusri Bodhisattva riding a lion and Puyin Bodhisattva riding an elephant at both ends, all in relief. North of the Tibetan niches, carved in the Tibetan Bodhisattva statue and left and right menace. In 2006, it was included in the sixth batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
