Jianqiao Central Aviation School site east of Jianqiao Airport, west of Airport Road, south near Jianqiao Road, north of Jianding Road. In 1930, Jiangjieshi decided to expand the Central Aviation School to Jianqiao, Hangzhou, on the basis of the former Central Military Academy's aviation class.
At present, 9 independent villas are still maintained, distributed along the northeast-southwest direction. Villas are 2 stories high, brick and wood structure, platform foundation has moisture-proof holes, roof with wooden roof frame, 1-6 villas on top of square or arc tiger windows.Building 36, also known as Meiling Building, is the former residence of Song house Meiling in the aviation school. The main building part of the office building is a four-story brick-and-mixed frame structure with a flat roof and a large volume. The main building has a two-way two-step shape, which gradually descends on both sides, which makes the facade a "wei" shape which is a Chinese Word.
Jianqiao Central Aviation School was the largest air force training base at that time. It produced a large number of outstanding air force personnel and was praised as the cradle of the Chinese Air Force. In 2006, it was included in the sixth batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
