Cangqian granary is Located in Cangqian Street Lingyuan Village, south of the Yuhangtang River. There are four buildings facing south and covering an area of 2000 square meters. Two of them are furrowed wooden warehouses, which are good for moisture-proof ventilation. Because of the late Qing Dynasty residential reconstruction, so called room warehouse. The room originally had a plaque, written "Xianfeng nine years". Two warehouses are three-room bungalows, tall and spacious, with stout timber, one of the south wall marking the grain stacking safety line, 2 meters high.
The practice of grain storage was advanced in China and even in the world at that time, 1955~1978 has been a national food sector flag, received three generations of national leaders, and recommended experience to the Soviet Union and other countries. The resulting "one meets four no standards" is still being used in the national food system. In 2009 as Hangzhou Cultural Relics Protection Unit. In the same year, Yuhang four grain warehouse exhibition hall was opened. In 2011, it was listed as Zhejiang Cultural Relics Protection Unit. In 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
