Xishan Bridge is located at the foot of Xizhou Natural Village in Gantan Township, Jiande City. It is located on the stream of Zizhou City. Built in Songxianchun Yuan Dynasty (1265), is Jiande, Tonglu to the main road to the Pujiang. Xishan Bridge is a stone single arch bridge. The pier is built on rocks on both sides of Zizhou River. It is 12.7 meters long, 3.1 meters wide, 6.3 meters high and 11.2 meters long. The deck of the bridge is made of slate.
The Xishan Bridge is constructed with a single arch and longitudinal section. The bridge is pentagonal, there has 5 groups in total, each side consists of 6 vertical bars and 2 horizontal bars, 38 stone bars to form an arch frame, and then paved with blue stone.
Xishan Bridge is a beautiful, unique, rigorous structure and exquisite work. It is an important material for studying the history of architecture and transportation. It has high historical, scientific and artistic value. In 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
