The Tomb of Wu Han Yue is located in the southern foot of Shijia Mountain, north of the Eight Diagrams Field under Yuhuang Mountain.It was discovered in December 1958 when the Hangzhou Cement Factory opened the mountain to collect stones. It became the earliest tomb of the Qian family in Wuyue. The tomb, facing south, is a stone-chamber tomb with a slope-shaped tomb in front and a chamber in the back. The tomb is rectangular, 7.6 meters long, 2.87 meters wide and 3.10 meters high. Separate to front room and back room. The front room is for court, used for burial objects. Two doors in the front room, carved symmetrical standing statue of two maids-in-waiting, 88 cm high, head in a double bun, bun front and top with a hairpin. Wearing a wide-sleeved, slanting waistband, hanging from the side, pleated skirt, covering the foot, holding the flagpole with both hands close to the chest, waving the flag in the wind, very dynamic. The face is plump and elegant. The sculpture is exquisite and lifelike.
The tomb of Wu Han Yue, as one of the components of the Qian family in Wu Yue, is an important example of the tomb regulation and burial customs in Wu Yue period.In 2006, Wu Hanyue's tomb was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
