Tianmu Kiln Site Group is located in Shaolu and Lingkou, Lin'an District, Hangzhou City. It is an ancient kiln site from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty. The total area of the site is about 6 square kilometers. At present, more than 20 Long Kiln beds have been found, and the thickness of the accumulated layer is 0.5~2 meters. Between the Tungkuan and Fengling streams, there are two kiln areas: east and west. The eastern part (Shaolu) on the north bank of Dongguan River, on the slopes of Tiangan and Yaojia Village, the total area is about 3 square kilometers; on the west bank of Songmaowu, Aogan Reservoir and Moshiling, the west bank is about 3 square kilometers.
There are more than 20 kinds of implements collected from the kiln site.The method of burning is stack burning, using straight bowl and shallow plate as casket burning. Glaze color is divided into black, black gold, brown, soy sauce brown, green, white, purple and so on, among which the black glaze bowl is characteristic. The firing time is long and the distribution area is wide, the accumulation layer is thick, the product is diverse, the loading burning method is unique, the decorative craft is characteristic. In 2013, it was included in the seventh batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
