The statue of Tian long Temple is located on the rock behind Tianlong Temple, southwest of Ciyun Ridge. It carved in 965 in the third year of the Northern Song Dynasty. It was carved when Qian Hongchu, the king of Wuyue, built the temple. Altogether, there are 3 niches, 11 cliff statues, subject matter for Maitreya Buddha, Infinite Buddha, Shuiyueyue Guanyin, Dharma Wallin Bodhisattva, Daimiao Xiang Bodhisattva, sumo wrestlers, flying sky and so on. The main niche is a bed of seven, Maitreya Buddha in the middle, behind which there is flame tattooed head light and body light. On both sides are the Bodhisattva of Dharma Flower Forest and the Bodhisattva of Great Miaoxiang, and on both sides are the statues of sumo wrestlers. Embossed on the lintel of niches two flying heaven. The west niche is the Buddha of the Infinite (or Amitabha Buddha), which is seated with a cross-legged posture, closed eyes and meditation, and behind it there are flame-patterned heads and body lights. The eastern niche is the Water Moon Goddess of Mercy (Visitual Bodhisattva), with a plump, quiet face. Tian long Temple statue is one of the representatives of Wuyue statue art, with vivid shape and exquisite carving. In 2006, it was included in the sixth batch of key national cultural relics protection units.
