The former site of Ren'ai Hospital is located in Hangzhou Red Cross Hospital, No. 38, Huancheng East Road, Gongshu District, Hangzhou, belonging to Shibanxiang Community, Chaoming Street. In 2019, it was listed in the eighth batch of cultural relics protection units nationwide.
Five buildings have been preserved in the old site, which are entered from the gate of the hospital at No. 38 East Ring Road, that is, two buildings built with red bricks; The plan of the south building is in an irregular shape. It is a two-story brick and wood structure with a four slope roof. The wall is equipped with flat windows, and the two floors of exterior walls are decorated with horizontal feet. The north building and the south building are separated by the hospital road, and the plane is in the shape of "L". It is a one story brick and wood structure building on the top of the Xieshan Mountain, facing south. The main entrance of the south facade has a pointed arch, which is now the radiology department of the hospital. To the west of the south building, there is also a two-story building facing south. It has a red brick exterior wall and a brick and wood pitched roof. It is now the tuberculosis ward of Red Cross Hospital.
The five buildings in Ren'ai Hospital are well preserved, forming a whole with historical and cultural connotation and unified environmental atmosphere. The Gothic building type and style of the church are very rare in Hangzhou. The building materials are exquisite, and attention is paid to detailed decoration. The high-grade building materials such as floor tiles and stained glass are imported from France, which has high scientific research and architectural art value.
