秋瑾墓

第一批浙江省级文物保护单位

秋瑾(1875~1907),原名秋闺瑾,字璿卿,号竞雄,别号“鉴湖女侠”,祖籍浙江绍兴,出生于福建厦门。辛亥革命时期杰出女革命家,妇女解放运动先驱,1907年7月15日就义于绍兴轩亭口。秋瑾被害后始葬于绍兴府城外龙山西麓张神殿,后几经迁徙,于1981年在今址重建。墓坐东朝西,用花岗岩砌筑,方形,正面镶嵌孙中山先生当年挽悼题字手迹“巾帼英雄”。

Qiu Jin's Tomb

Qiu Jin (1875~1907), formerly known as Qiu Jin (秋闺瑾), character Xuanqing, nicknamed Jingxiong, alias "Jianhu Woman", ancestral home in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, was born in Xiamen, Fujian. An outstanding female revolutionary during the Xinhai Revolution and a pioneer of the women's liberation movement, she died in Xuantingkou, Shaoxing, on July 15, 1907. After Qiu Jin was killed, he was buried in the Zhang Shen Temple at the western foot of Longshan Mountain outside Shaoxing Prefecture, and after several migrations, it was rebuilt at the current site in 1981. The tomb sits east facing west, made of granite masonry, square, and the front is inlaid with Dr. Sun Yat-sen's handwriting "Heroes of Women".
