Wei kuangguo (1614-1661), named Jitai, Italian, originally named Martino Martini, began preaching in China in the sixteenth year of Wei Kuangguo's Ming Chongzhen (1643), died in Hangzhou in the eighteenth year of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1661) and was buried in a Catholic cemetery. The cemetery sits southwest facing northeast and covers an area of 1,542 square meters. There are shadow walls, tomb roads, torii gates, tombs, etc. in the park. Wei Kuangguo has made outstanding contributions to cultural exchanges between China and the West, and Wei Kuangguo's tomb has certain reference value for studying Christian funeral customs in China.
