Yu Zisan (1925-1947), named Zexi, from Muping county, Shandong. In 1944, he entered the Department of Agronomy of Zhejiang University and devoted himself to the students' patriotic democratic movement. In October 1947, he was secretly arrested by Kuomintang agents and died in prison. Yuzisan's tomb covers an area of 440 square meters, face north, is a concrete structure, semi-circular. The tombstone is engraved with 8 characters "Revolutionary Martyr Yuzi Three Tombs", inscribed by Qiao Shi. Today, the Yuzisan Martyrs' Cemetery has become an important activity place for Hangzhou teenagers to cultivate their sentiments and carry out revolutionary traditional education.
