Xujia Nanfang House was built during the Wanli Ming Dynasty. The building sits north facing south (10° east), covers an area of 3116 square meters, and consists of four courtyards and three courtyards and a backyard. The front three entrances of Nanda House are rectangular in plan and distributed according to the central axis, the first and third are Qing Dynasty buildings, and the second is Ming Dynasty buildings. The fourth entrance is a triad-style building of its own, which was continued during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. There is another back house in the fourth north, which was built during the Republican period. Xujia Nan House is one of the earliest and largest ancient houses in Xiaoshan area, carrying rich local historical information and cultural connotations.
